How Come There Are Never Trampolines In Schools?

Although there are many people that argue that things such as play systems and trampolines should not be allowed in the playground as they worried about health and safety I feel that in some instances you are actually denying kids a proper childhood.

What are these reasons?

A lot of the schools are actually too scared to throw in a lot of fun for the schools as there are many parents that stand against every idea mentioned. The sad thing is there are so many people that would actually enjoy going out and taking a school to court. If a child falls over then 9 times out of 10 it is because children fall over all of the time but even when it is the schools fault it is not always them who are in need of suing.

Price is another thing that is very important and it can be crucial as school’s do often not have big budgets. This is why it can be a lot easier to host a fair or something like that so that a lot of money can be raised so that the school can improve upon many of the things that it already has in the playground. The average school sized wooden, giant play adventure would easily set you back at least £5,000 and the government are just not often prepared to pay for it all.

This is actually a very big problem and relying on the public to come up with all of the money is already a bit harsh considering they are supposed to be paying for all of it all in taxes anyway!

The best thing to do is make sure that there is at least something in the playground to keep the kids occupied or they will have very boring lunch hours.
